Last minute Hotel offers
Use-it provides last minute hotel deals that give you up to a 70% discount. Make your stay in Rotterdam better than perfect by ending it in a four star hotel for a night. Keep in mind that we can only make reservations for you in person, on the day of arrival at our desk. For this service Use-it charges a small reservation fee of € 2.30 per person or we charge you the entire amount of the overnight stay at the desk. For more information check the information under 'sleep'. We can also make you free reservations for budget accommodations like Stayokay, City Camping, Hostel Boat De Clipper and hostel ROOM Rotterdam. During July and August we can book you a bed in our very own Sleep-in De Mafkees for just € 10.- a night (breakfast included). De Mafkees is located above the Use-it center. Simply the Best
Each year Use-it publishes a free budget guide to Rotterdam: Simply the Best. Our editorial staff has worked with pleasure on the latest edition of Simply the Best to inform you about how to have a great time in Rotterdam. So if you don't want to miss the real Rotterdam you have to read this guide and get streetwise. Learn the short cuts, Rotterdam’s hidden treasures, and local hangouts. All the articles are strictly independent and solely based on our experience of living in Rotterdam. You can get a copy at one of the Use-it information desks, in the hostels in Rotterdam, or at the VVV stores in Rotterdam.
Do-It-Yourself-Tours
Who needs a grumpy guide to show you around when you can do it yourself? Put your feet to work and grab a free DIY-tour at the Use-it center. Wanna see the best architecture in town, find out about special shops, or cycle to the windmills of Kinderdijk? DIY has it all tracked out for you. We have a Day-tour, Night-tour, Shopping-tour, Architecture-tour, Delfshaven-tour, Schiedam-tour, Public Art tour and Kinderdijk-by-bike-tour.
Free maps, flyers and postcards
Maps of the city center, maps for public transport, maps of museums: whatever you need we have a map waiting for you! We also have free postcards to send home. Besides that, you'll find plenty of party guides, flyers and leaflets about everything going on in town.
Bike Rental
Move your ass and cycle like the Dutch do! The best way to get to know the city is by bike. Bike lanes will make it easy to bike around. Use-it rents cool green bikes for just € 6.- a day (€ 50.- refundable deposit). No need to call ahead, we do not take reservations on bikes. We have some bike-routes and maps to help you find your way.
Free Lockers
Use-it is happy to store your backpack in one of our lockers during opening hours. Drop off your backpack, leave us a key-deposit of € 2.50, and save your back for the rest of the day. Make sure to be back again before closing time!
Read-it/Change-it
Finished your book? Swap it for another one for free. If you are lucky you might even find one in your mother tongue. Our extended collection offers lots of different languages.
Travelers necessities
Rain ponchos, earplugs, detailed street maps all for sale for a small price. As an extra treat if you’re lying around: we offer cold drinks just waiting to refresh you. Have a seat, relax, and talk with the Use-it crew or other young people who hang around.

Surf the net looking for your next destination. Use-it offers internet for € 0.80 per 15 minutes of browsing.
