Blaak market
The Rotterdam market is like Rotterdam itself: one big multicultural mix of customers and items. If there’s anything you want, you can usually find it at the Blaak open-air market. You can get fruit, vegetables, clothing, electrical goods but also Turkish bread, Vietnamese egg rolls, Moroccan olives and other multicultural goods. Close to the Meent you will find a secondhand section with clothes, shoes, furniture, household stuff and some useless items. Everything is cheap in this crazy busy place. It is a great outing for a day!

Do you like vintage? Do you like clothes with an extra twist to them? Episode is the place to go! A cute little shop with a massive amount of beautiful (sometimes crazy) vintage clothing. Most items are a bit pricey, but it certainly is the place to find gems that no-one else will have!

If you don’t mind second-hand and want it for a cheap price, thriftshop Piekfijn is where you can find it! Furniture, clothes, books, glasses, bags and much much more. Not all items have got the cool vintage look, but when you search for it you can definitely go home with some flashy stuff.

On a sidestreet of the Nieuwe Binnenweg you find this small vintage shoeshop. Besides a wide range of converse sneakers they sell all kinds of boots, pumps and sneakers.
